RE: Changed my fuel pick-up

Rich,
Sounds like that could be an issue... Got any backroads you can do
some testing on??

Subject: Changed my fuel pick-up

I've been meaning to do this for ages but I'm a master procrastinator. I
finally changed the old 5/16" fuel pick-up out and put in the new 3/8"
unit I got from Don Owen. It was a snap. I just raised the rear of the car
and without removing the tank I had it done in less than 1/2 hour.
It was a piece of cake.

The funny thing is that when I got the old unit pulled out I found the
filter had been ripped open so someone put an old piece of cloth around it
and tied it on!!!! It was amazing. Perhaps that was an issue with fuel flow.
