Rich just a thought ,,,,,,,,, what if you were to put a bypass solenoid on you fuel line around the pressure regulator so as you had full pump pressure at the carbs when acc. pedal is on the floor,,,,,,,,, In a message dated 3/11/2010 12:05:04 P.M. It almost feels like a governor. I'm thinking I may have fuel delivery issues at sustained WOT. I know I have plenty of fuel available with my new 3/8's lines and the macho Holley blue 110gph electric pump. So I'm thinking that since the carbs are bumped up rich a couple stages maybe I should put in the larger needle and seats and high perf accel pumps. I may be lacking in flow capacity at sustained top-end. The accel pumps have larger nozzles currently but I feel it may need more volume also for the initial launch. I've ordered the Edelbrock #1980 needle/seat assy ($11ea local) and the #1982 Hi-perf accel pump plunger assy ($14ea local). I'll try that out this season and see if it's the key to the top-end. I was kinda wondering before if my Engine Dynamics 9&1/2" 3000 stall converter was slipping. In retrospect I think fuel delivery is more likely. What are your thoughts?
