Cal- Tracs and leaf springs

I am about ready to get new leaf springs for my 64 Dodge 440 body.  Options 
are - SS springs or --stock   springs or  heavy  duty springs  with 
Cal-tracs. My  thought is SS  give to firm a ride for 300+ mile trips.  How 
would the Cal- tracs ride with new stock springs or possibly HD springs? It 
wiill likely see some drag strip action. Anyone have the Cal -tracs and what 
do you think of them?..........................MO
