Re: Rear Springs

Gary H.,
I would assume that these measurements are from the rear end mounting pin?
Fixing to crawl under the car and play with my tape measure.
I gotta get me a lift!

Hopefully the format of the table below will come through. I remembered seeing this chart, that is supposed to be based on the Mopar Chassis book. Does it look accurate?

Leaf spring dimensions:
Year and Body
                Front Rear Total
                Segment Segment Length
1960-1976 A-body 20 35 55
1976-1989 F/J/M-Bodies 24 34 58
1970-1974 E-body 22 35 57
1965-1979 B-body 22 36 58
1964-1965 B-body 21 35 56
1962-1963 B-body 20 35 55
Dakota 24 32 56
MP Super Stock 20 36 56

Thanks,
Gary H.

http://www.jegs.com/p/Mopar-Performance/Mopar-Performance-Leaf-Springs/747047/10002/-1 is Jegs version, which lists B-Body 1966-1972.

Someday I need to plow through all the old 62-65 mails and put together a chart about what people have reported using springs in 62-65s and interchange tips.

Thanks,
Gary H.
