Re: VIN on a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda

I seem to recall that the numbers found in various locations on early 60's Mopars are more coded to the shipping order number than the actual VIN number. The actual vin was only on the vin tag on the driver's door frame.

Some 60's Mopars had a body sequence number on:
* radiator core support-top left corner of the radiator, on top or front or back
* interior driver's inner wheel house
* on driver's side rear package shelf between the speaker cutout and the back glass
* On area where the left bumper bracket mounts to the body.

Some early 60's Mopars had no shipping order numbers stamped anywhere.

Thanks,
Gary H.
