OUCH!!!! I had one of those temporary garages where I used to live and it served me well for about 3 years until I moved. But it was also the round quonset hut type. Plus I never did trust it with heavy snow so I always went out and pushed the snow off it after a storm.
Hopefully Santa works for the insurance company and brings you a new windshield.

Well, the east coast blizzard dumped over 24 inches of snow on us this weekend. Before it started to snow I made sure to get my 64 Polara convertible tucked safely into the 12x8x24 garage-out-of-a-box I put up about a year and a half ago. Turns out I'd have been better off letting it get snowed on... Yesterday we spent the better parts of the afternoon digging out my truck(and failing) and then getting my GF's truck out. In the process I ended up with a nice pair of cuts on the head. After all that, the last thing I was thinking about was clearing the snow off the garage-tent. At 4AM, when we went to bed, it was fine. Got up this morning and the three middle tube trusses had failed. The center truss went through the windshield and the snow-filled canvas is on the roof of the car. Tomorrow will be spent digging out the car. I hate it when I get screwed by doing the right thing.........Pics at: http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/21824735
