Dittoes on Joe Suchy and his lovely wife. Great people to deal with. Have another Vicodin! Hope you are feeling better, Dave. Many of you already know this, I'm sure. While I'm long time a dyed in the wool Mopar man, I'm relatively new to our '62-'65 era Mopars that we all love. I'm still learning a lot of details about my '64 Belvedere, and Joe has been a great help to me. Not only has he been a great source for reasonably priced parts, but he has shared a lot of his expertise of '64 Plymouths with me. He even took the time to make a complete diagram of which clips I needed and where each goes for my stainless trim. > > The last batch of parts I ordered from Joe was a little over a week ago. I had told Joe that I was about to go in for hip replacement surgery on 12/7. Today was my first day home alone, and it was a real treat to have the UPS man drop off my parts. When I opened my box, there was also a get well card in it from Joe. This just goes to show the high quality of people most of us get to know through our Mopars. I've had similar wonderful experiences over the years through my Mopars - including with many of you on this email list. I've come to realize that while I love these old Mopars as cars, it's the relationships that they bring that really stand out as golden memories for me. > > In the past year I've rekindled my friendship with one of my old Mopar running buddies from 25 years ago. After moving away years ago and returning, I bumped into him at a car show. He's been a big help to me all through my return to the hobby and during the purchase and work on my Belvedere. Now my Belvedere is stored for the winter in his building with his cars that include his '59 Belvedere, '70 Cuda, and '67 Monaco. > > We really get to meet some great people in this hobby, and I think that's especially true for us Mopar guys. I know - I'm really getting sappy, aren't I? Must be time to take my Vicodin again. :) > > Dave > > > > > > ---- > Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
