If you change the steering rod..........I got all kinda 0cents advice. Me and MO swapped out steering rods and boxes for my 65 Petty Stock Car Project. I went from PS to manual. It was a 64 Dodge B and 65 Ply B. Everything fit great.

Keep the original steering column and wheel. Change only the steering rod. The power steering column will need to not have a gear shift selector, so it needs to come from a 4 speed car as well. Or a previous year PB B Body (more plentiful), if the '62 to '64 power steering columns will work on a 1965.Thanks, Gary H. -----Original Message-----A 65 Dodge column rod will interchange with a 65 Plymouth Satellite. Done it. Coupler kits available from the dealer. Ollie----- Original Message -----Hi all, A fellow asked me what power steering columns will fit in his 1965 Plymouth Satellite. He is converting from manual to power. Any tips? Thanks, Gary H.----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
