Hello, You might want to give them a call. It came factory set with a rev limit of 5,500 and I did not change it. All I can say is that it pulls fine to 5,500. I had the full setup to go on my 63, electronic Mopar ignition and MSD rev limiter, the more I looked around the less I wanted it under my hood. The Pertronix only has two wires. Not the place to ask but what do you have in your 56 Hemi and where did you get the parts? I have a 54 331 that has been in the garage too long and needs to be built. I was thinking about calling Hot Heads. If you have any thoughts or recommendations for me it would be better to send them direct. ply(at)sbcglobal.net Thanks Steve Mick wrote:I wonder if there is any down side of the pertronix in higher performance levels (6000rpm)? I really like mine in my 56 Chry Hemi. The biggest reason I would like to put one in my HP 413 is to eliminate wireing and boxes.. My engine compartment will be as clean and simple as I can make it--not even heater hoses!.....................MO----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill" <Y1TopBanana73@xxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 22, 2009 2:36 PM Subject: Re: 59 Distrib Swap ${top_text_ad} The super easy way it the Pertronix.
