Re: Poly rocker advice?

I would let it be if the valve adjustment is close. A bigger question for me would be................what happened to the broken off piece?

Gary,

It is always "jelly-side down" when it comes to car repair and maintenance. A mis or non-adjusted rocker & valve could cause more serious problem that would necessitate removal of the head to replace a worn or bent valve, although I do not know if your broken rocker/adjuster is that far out of adjustment.

I would try to remove the shaft enough to replace that rocker. If you cannot move the shaft far enough I would try the EZ-out. There is quite a bit of "bite" left on the broken adjuster that I think you will be able to remove it safely.
Let me know when you get it out and I will send you another rocker arm with adjuster.
