Cleaning & disassembling the "new" poly

Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies

I coated the new poly with a bunch of degreaser and power washed it out
in the rain. It worked pretty well. Then I started taking a few things
off. The intake, dist,t-stat housing and valve covers. It's really
gunked up bad but I did notice that it probably had the pass side head
replaced. It's from a '65 Plymouth (jump in if I'm wrong Dodger) and has
the 2 bolt VC,s but the right head is the older style with the third
bolt hole altho it wasn't used. Now I'd think the factory just had one
laying around but it's much cleaner than the otherside so that makes me
think it had been replaced. It's still froze up but I'm working on
freeing it. I also took out the pushrods but the lifters are kinda
stuck. I have them soaking too. I just finished up my garage project too
and it's much handier. It's nice to have a new toy to beat on :-)
