Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies I got the poly that Dodger gave me out of my Blazer and onto the engine stand today. Paul Lenneman said my engine hoist was leaking off and he was right !!!! I had a heck of a time. I bled it and checked the fluid level and all is well there but it sure lowers rapidly if you're not pumping it and you have to pump like a maniac to get it to lift. I recruited my wife to pump on it while I put the floor jack under the oil pan with a few boards for heigth. The floor jack helped it have enough power to lift but if I went too fast with the jack the engine would fall over. It was exciting but we prevailed. Guess I'll have to get the hoist repaired or get a new cylinder. My wife had to take the Blazer to the dentist today with the poly in the back. Need I say she's glad to have it out of there? ----Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
