RE: Converted 4-door





The conversion actually puts the inner parts in just as the factory did.  As I pulled the inner structure from the old 2 door sedan, a large part of it was held in the body shell with sheet metal screws from the factory.  It appears to me that they made one shell for both styles and then put the correct parts in for 2 door or 4 door.  So really this conversion is, except for originality and VIN, a "factory" conversion.  Doing just a weld up of the 4 doors would mean keeping the shorter front doors; the 2 door has much longer doors and openings so the proportions are different.
