I was planing on going to the drags.. I made an appointment with the guys you suggested (Auto Fitness) to check out my front end.. the way things are going I'm not gonna have my suspension done, but I want AF's opinion as to whether I really need a complete suspension over-haul. I'm a tad suspicious of the intentions of the guy who wanted $2k to do the front suspension, and how much he exaggerated how bad it is.. he made it sound like I could lose a tie-rod any second (I have reasons to believe he's wrong or lieing) if AF thinks my car is highway worthy or just needs a little work.. I'll be there :) ya know, my Newport is my daily ride Steve Mick wrote:Well Bob! I wondered where you been. That is some bang for the buck there in your upholstery. When I get ready to do the 64 Dodge, I want to find out more about your vendor. BTW I think some of us 62-65 folks are going to the Geezer drags at Pacific Jct. the end of August. hopefully to see Rich ripping up the asphalt!...........................MO----- Original Message ----- From: <62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx>To: <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, August 03, 2009 10:27 PM Subject: RE: finally got upolstery done.. kind of > > oops.. screwed up the url > http://www.timelesstransport.com/inexpensive-auto-upholstery/ > > > 62pluckedchicken@xxxxxxxxx wrote: >> >> While waiting around to my suspension parts...
