RE: Car Show



Right on the nose Rich!  The yellow Merc sled was really cool.  But it 
just burns me up when I see SBC for the motor.  How about a nice 289 or 
302 Ford motor?  And the Dart.......SBC.  The 63 Sport Fury like mine 
was for sale priced at $15,500.00.  It was a 383 4spd.
My friend that I went with to the car show is a Chevy guy (62 Impala) 
and we have a lot of fun kidding each other back and forth about the 
whole shoebox/sbc thing.  Did you notice the Subaru engine in the 
Vanagon?  I'll bet the VW guys are probably like me and bemoaning the 
off brand engine.
