I do my best over here in California to find good rust free cars and save them. But its not easy.I just dont have the space to store cars.I had to let a 66 Coronet 4 Door Parts car go to a wrecker because I had no place for it.I advertised for a while, Free Parts cars and no one wanted it.I know where a super clean, rust free, straight 61 Buick 4 door is sitting minus an engine,$150,the windshield alone is worth more than that! Its amazing how many people will donate their cars away too..Alot of people just dont care a thing about a classic car.Alot of Nor Cal snobby Rich kids when their parents die just give their parents Classic Car away to donation yards.I bought a beuatiful 63 Newport 2 Dr a few years ago from such a person,$600! it was immaculate too, I ended up selling it for $4500 to a very happy guy.But that car was going to go to one of those cash for cars places before I stepped in.It's a scary thought but good cars get crushed more than you want to know... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Herb" <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx>

The guys in my car clubs are having some interesting discussions these days about the Obama owned GM and Chrysler and the new laws on fuel mileage he made. Most say the modern muscle car (Challengers, Chargers, Camaros, Shelby GT500, AMG Mercedes and BMW Ms) with 400+ horsepower will die as they did in the late '70s' under Carter, since Obama wants only Prius and Insight types coming out of Detroit. Some say they will buy some new ones, horde them, and get more '60s and early '70s muscle cars and horde them too. It looks bad for the current crop of great muscle beig built, so I guess all of us with the old muscle are lucky.
