Bill,If it is the slider type, do what I did to make the hose on the top, move the caliper to the other side, then it is on top! Simple but it works.

So I'm out in the garage working on the front end in the 65 Coronet last night until 1:15 am...everything was going well and it was turning out to be a nice, productive evening. I finally got the upper ball joints out Thurs night and was getting the final clean up done and putting everything back together. I got the upper control arm in, mounted the spindle on it, mounted the lower ball joint and got it bolted in, then decided to mount the caliper bracket and mock up the rest of the parts. Well lets just say I think I found out why they say to NOT use 73 B-Body disc brake setups for a swap to an earlier car. Forget that the spindle is supposedly taller...the f'ing brake hose bolt is mounted on the bottom of the f'ing caliper and hits the f'ing control arm whenever you turn the f'ing wheel! Unless I actually make a relief cut in the end of the control arm outboard of the shock mount (which ain't gonna happen), this setup will not work. Talk about hours of seemingly productive effort followed by 1 minute of "OH $H!T!!! WTF!?!?!? MOTHER &^$* $#$^# %$#@&*% !!!" So it looks like I get to tear the disc brake setup off my 73 Dart Sport and hunt for replacement parts for it. I guess I;ll be tearing that stuff apart tonight which means another week behind schedule.
