RE: Coolant routing ?

I have had a problem in the past when I was towing a trailer with my '71 
Dodge 383 truck. Before I added a trans cooler it got too hot and 
actually spewed trans fluid. The cooler fixed it.

I just gotta think that I want the cooler to remove heat before the 
radiator to help keep the radiator cooler. I will get a trans temp gauge 
and if it seems too cool I can delete the rad cooler. My cooler is the 
BMM-70266 in the Summit catalog which is rated for 28,000 lbs GVW. The 
mid-size racing cooler. I did hit the top first with the incoming fluid.
