I already added a nice heavy braided ground wire and was thinking about doing what you said on the black and red wires. I guess we're on the same wavelength! ----- Original Message ----- From: "SB" <polecat2@xxxxxxxx> To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, April 14, 2009 11:40:47 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: RE: dash voltage limiter? I should also mention, the very first thing I do to an old car is install a good, heavy ground strap between the engine and the frame rail. NAPA has some great ones. The woven ones are said to be better, but I don't know why. On any car, even a daily driver, I like to remove every ground I can find and wire wheel it and everything it touches. A lot of corrosion lurks in there. I do one at a time so the computer, radio, etc. don't lose their memories. ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
