RE: speedometer

That happened to me when I got to about last 100 miles of getting my car 
home when I bought it.. it started out sporadic and became permanent... 
I tried graphite at the speedo end, but it didn't help..

since I couldn't take the noise, I disconnected the speedo cable, and 
will try a new cable..

there was a discussion about this a couple of months ago, and for a lot 
of people the graphite works
