in regards to hard starting most has to do with auto chokes, mines a manual choke & a mongrel to start after sitting for a week. after sitting overnight it'll start 1st or 2nd go but after 3 or more days i have to pump the gas pedal 20 or more times to even get a hint of a kick out of it let alone start it. i dont think our petrol has ethanol in it yet, unless advertised that way. but compared to the old super [leaded] petrol unleaded must be the cause. i like the idea of an electric fuel pump just for cold starts, & am thinking of doing it this winter. if it dosent contravene the historic registration scheme. if i cant go that route i guess i just have to keep pumping like mad. cheers richard [oz] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
