Been there done that. Have you ever had a tire iron slip off the bead while taking a tire off of the rim on a coats tire machine? Some how found a tooth. Still have most of the tooth, and looked really quick to see if anyone was looking. Learned a good lesson that day. Happened in 1972, but one of those lessons not forgotten. It was a hobby job and I enjoyed it. I got the car on the hoist. I positioned the big drain pan (which was way to small) and started loosening the bolts. Nothing was leaking so I just kept going and removed all but one. Then I loosened it and of course it was on the far side from me. It was still stuck so I gave it a tap and of course it popped right off! Of course it also allowed 90% of the pretty hot fluid to run right down inside the front of my shirt! I was well lubricated. My boss and a youngman working there got a pretty big laugh out of it. I gotta admit it was funny. I never made that mistake again. ===================================================================== Doug Daniel wrote: ***hopefully some of the fluid goes in pan ********************** Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
