Rich Kinsley, I am a young rambler.. 59..lol I have a B&M trans fan from Summit. It is mounted in the rear of the vehicle between the fuel tank and bumper. It was the smallest they had. My trans temp, probe in the pan, runs 240 to 250 normal. It will climb a bit if you get rowdy. I am told trans temp is not a problem. You are ok to over 300 degrees with regular fluid and if u start to slip you can go to a synethic. I have not encountered a problem....yet? I had the radiator built custom by Mattson Radiator in CA. It was built water only. Wish I had went with a cross flow but it is a down draft. He said it was cored the best u could go. Don't remember exactly. Probably a result of alcohol use, older age and various other body abuses at young ages......lol Selection of alternators for our cars was thin at best. All I found was DB Electrical and Tuff Stuff for the 440.
