RE: last question on electronic ignition!

Just for the heck of it check the voltage on the output side of the MP
ballast resistor, bet it might be 12v. They might just give you a ballast
resistor look alike to install that is technically a jumper to go along with
the KISS method. (KISS Keep It Simple Stupid) Just a thought!

Subject: RE: last question on electronic ignition!

Dennis,

I love all the help, but gosh darn it now I'm really confused. As
mentioned, this is an MP conversion. My car kept cutting out
(electrically speaking) at idle, in drive, with accessories on. Folks
said it was low voltage to the new MP coil, and to jump the new ballast
resistor, which I did. Now the voltage is higher, and the car does not
cut out. YOu have warned me; will damage occur with this thing jumped?
Can I call MP, and does anyone have a number? Can we sort this out??
