Valve lash info on my poly

For those of you who are interested, read on. Otherwise it'll be boring.

I ran the car hard today to simulate the trip to the dragstrip. It ran 
great. Go figure. It wouldn't even get really hot with idling or 
anything. I ran it about 10 miles at 3500 to 5000rpm's.

I checked the valve adjustment after I got back while it was hot. Then 
after a few hours I checked it cold. It was all over the place. 
The exhaust were a little tighter hot except #6. The intake were all 
looser or the same except #8 which was tighter cold.

Hot 1).018i,.017e; 2).020i,.017e; 3).018i,.014e***;4).017i,.016e;
5).017i,.016e; 6).016i,.018e; 7).018i,.020e; 8).018i,.016e
Cold 1).017i,.020e; 2).018i,.020e; 3).017i,.015e; 4).017i,.016e:
5).017i,.017e; 6).014i,.016e; 7).018i,.021e; 8).020i,.020e

Some of the adjusters are bottomed out and won't tighten anymore. But 
they were at .014" I&E cold spec when adjusted last. I am replacing the 
pushrods back to the stock which are about .006" longer than the ones I 
was using.

Anybody care to contribute ideas as to any settings changes you think I 
should make? Ideas always welcome.
