The oil appears to be leaking out around that little metal tab that holds the valve cover gasket. I think I did a good job pounding down the pan bolt hole areas - thanks for all the tips on that activity. While I have it apart this time I'm going to replace the rear main seal too. Hopefully I will be finished in time to drive it to the 'Nats.
