Mo,Nason is a acrylic enamel made by Dupont, not a poly urathane. It is a single stage with a hardener added. Sprays and flows really great. You can still sand with some 600 to 1000 grit to remove dirt and buff. Sprays great even metalics with old reliable.. Binks 7. You are not a wacko...most people cannot even see the difference..us wacko's can!

Ollie-Thank you for this post! I feel the same way. When I try to describe the difference, they look at me like I'm a whacko...(maybe I still am! ) Is this Nason a second line of paint from another company? I don't think I have heard of it. Is this a Urathane paint used with a hardner?.................MO....sw iowa ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ollie" <satellite1965@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: "Mopar Club" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 08, 2009 8:28 AM Subject: Paint/Just meNeal,I personally do not like base coat/clear coat on our cars. Was not the type of shine they had. ie. paint on the bottom, shine on the top.I prefer a single stage paint, ie. the paint itself shines. I personally like Nason, Full-Cryl II, single stage.
