RE: 64 Distributor post into turning the engine problems post...



Hi,

This is just a suggestion because it happened to me.

Did you connect the torque converter to the crank with the 4 bolts on 
the flex plate?  If they are not connected, the engine will spin over 
the torque convertor and not start the car.

If they are not connected, there is a chance that the convertor may also 
slide back into the bell housing and be too far away from the starter 
gear.

Anyway, just a suggestion.
