The 361 was a low B block engine, basically the same block as the 350, 383 and 400 - although not the American 1959-60 Chrysler 383 which is an RB block engine (413, 426, 440).
Heads from the LB 383 and RB 413, 426 & 440 will not fit on the LB 361 due to the smaller bore (smaller bore - smaller valves) but the RB 383 will. The 1959-60 LB 361 and RB 383 shared heads as did the LB 383 and RB 413.
Manifolds, I believe, will interchange for all LB engines as will crankshafts - they all have the same stroke. The bores (pistons) differ.
The 361 was used on cars until about 1966 and in trucks into the 1970's. Bill Vancouver, BC----- Original Message ----- From: "Dave Isle" <mnwildpunk@xxxxxxxxx>

Ok I am jumping in and asking my own question I have the 361 so your telling me it is a big block how long did they make it then and is anything compatable with the 383 and 413
