Steve, I don't think there was any milling done other than to clean things up. The KB pistons that were used have a lower pin height which raises it up in the hole to near zero deck height. They are a flat top piston and may have valve relief cuts, not sure. The heads were cc'd at 88 cc's which is stock for that head. I'll see if I can find the # of the piston that was used. I run 92 octane and 34 deg. total timing and I don't have any trouble with pinging. I had originally wanted to use the six pack pistons but at the time (last summer) TRW was moving their production facilities to India and they were not available. The KB's are also lighter which is a plus. Paul L.
