Nuts are welded to the floor pan. Jimmy mikelj@xxxxxxx wrote:
Folks, I want to replace my stock front seat belts in my '64 Dodge Polara 500. I have the replacements, but before I unbolt the big bolts that hold them to the floorboard I am wondering if there is a loose nut on the other end of the bolt. I can't see any from the undercarriage, and the outside belts are attached to an area without any access from the undercarriage, so I am assuming that the bolts must be threaded into the frame somehow and not loose nuts. Is that right? Thanks. I would hate to hear a loose bolt drop into a place you need a air hammer to get to!
