Personally, I used to run Delvac 1 full synthetic. Valvoline or Brad 
Penn racing oil is another alternative, although I haven't checked the 
ZDDP in either one lately.

Another alternative while doing a new build is to use EDM lifters and 
not worry about $7/qt. oil. The lifters aren't cheap, but probably pay 
for themselves with peace of mind over the long haul.
