16lb cap is to much for our radiators 13lb is best. you might slowly be creating a leak with the 16lb cap, I know I did. had to have my tank re-soldered a couple times before I learned this.
adding a fan shroud helps, also a smaller fan pulley to speed up the fan, I hear also works good
toward cooling.an oil cooler will help but since the trans fluid is cooled by the radiator I'd like to cool that stuff down first before it enters the radiator. then in those adverse conditions the rad won't be subjected to the over heated trans fluid.
