Re: Battery Relocation Question

you could route it through the the trunk and down the back of the rear seat over to the left side and have it come out under the carpet to follow the length of the floor and up by the factory dimmer switch and route it through the factory openeing where the clutch rod would be on a stick car and that puts you right about where the starter is, as scary as it sounds NHRA accepts this. Mine is run under the car from the batteries down the left side of the car by the frame connectors and up over the front frame rail to the starter to clear the headers. My car has two batteries so I start from the left side.

Subject: Battery Relocation Question

I am moving the battery in my 63 SF to the trunk. The original battery
location and the starter are on the left side but the battery goes on
the right side in the trunk.

I don't see a good route for going from left to right under the car, I
would be interested in knowing what path those of you who have moved
your batter used to get from the starter to the battery on the right
side of the trunk.

Thanks
