Left handed threads are on the driver's side!

Herb, thank you for the advice. I'm talking to the mechanic over the
phone in another city, he says he's used a torch before. Who knows?
We're finding a rim and brake drum in advance in case there's a problem.

Do you know what side those left hand threads were on the car? I have a
funny feeling the shop tried to take them off with an impact wrench, and
that's when the studs started spinning.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.  I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic.  Thanks!
