I get your point that the uncertain economy is apparently not dropping swap meet asking prices yet. To clarify, I meant someone can ask any price. The proof of perceived value is in the eye of the buyer. The swap meets I've been to in the last few years have contained many vehicles with big prices on their windshields but no evidence of many sales of them; common to see the same vehicles for sale time and time again at different swap meets as time progresses.
