The metal at Home Depot comes in 1'x1', 1'x2', or 3'x3'. It's a little heavier than the .015" stuff that Nick T used for his BB shield. It's what I could find. The link that Gary H put up previously shows a scan of the template with ruled dimensions for reference and the gasket # too. Yep, I put the gasket against the block and the metal on top of it.
