I think I'll give the mirror trick a try before removing the bumper,  I 
don't think it hard to unbolt the bumper, but the sucker weighs a ton, 
so I'd wait until I get a couple of guys over to drink my beer...

the only place in town I've found to do plating is Industrial Plating, 
and for bumpers they send them of to Minnesota (they don't have vats big 
enough or can't pass the environmental regs.. )

I was gonna tape some cardboard fins to my '62 and post a picture in the 
member "Forward Look only" section... ;) but I don't know how they'd 
take it... there is some good info over there, but I always have to 
preface questions with "How do you <blank> on a '60 to '62 Newport?
