Re: Speedometer Gear........Grey Color(?)

1997. One of the most interesting places i have been. The music is wonderful too. Loved the Mummers song. Went over on the ferry from North Sidney in a huge storm. Dishes were coming out of the kitchen storage wells a busting on the floor. Went out front at the bow for about 5 seconds. Darn near drowned. Even my underwhear was totally soaked. (on the Joey Smlwod) Went to Cape ????? forgot the name, (where Cabot landed.) tis more like the artic there than the artic was when i visited it. Couldnt see nothin just heard the foghorn. Almost hit a "Newfie speedbump" one night. Closet call I've ever had. Went whale watching with the Gatherals at Conception Bay. I now know "if you aint been to "The Rock" you aint bin nowhere." I remember about 1/2 way to St Johns there was a garage with a few Mopars in it. Mostly 62 Plymouths and Dodges. I stopped for a peak but there was no one around. Cant remember exactly but it was past Cornerbrook but not yet Clarenville. It is the best kept secret on the planet , your province. Are there many old Mopars still there?

How are things on The Rock? Wonderful memories of my time in your town.
To my knowledge you cant do a early trans with 410 and 27 1/2 tire. There is not the right gear availble like there is for the later trans. You can though with a bit of ingenuity get it to work almost bang on for KMs which works just fine for us Canucks.

Try Bill Kay Chrysler, I believe he's in our amazing vendor pages.

Can anyone help me locate a grey color speedometer gear (?), 65 727 cable
shift transmission.
I believe it is a 21 tooth. I have a 27.5 tire and 4:10 gears.
I am trying to have my speedometer read correctly. If you have one lying
around for the above combination and willing to send to Canada I am
interested in purchasing one. Let me know. Thank you from St. John's,
Newfoundland ,Canada.
65 Belvedere II wagon with a 402 stroker.
I really enjoy this forum and the information provided. It is truly amazing
the number of parts identified and located on this forum.
Thank you
