scrappage bill

scary & stupid stuff. i believe the uk are looking at implementing similar laws as well. only a matter of time before some misguided fool suggests same for oz. we lost a lot of cars over last couple of years due to price for scrap metal. a lot of people believed their clunkers were worth more as scrap than as parts & sometimes they were right but an awful lot of valuable parts cars were lost for good.parts prices have gone through the roof accordingly.i have heard that the most energy & base resources a car uses in its life is when its manufactured, so leave our old clunkers alone. by the way i hope you guys in the northern usa states are enjoying the cool temps down here in the southern states of australia we're slowly melting in 45.c days cheers to those who cant sleep through the heat richard [oz]

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
