Re: another new guy

Yes I did and it's looking fantastic and will be something to be proud of when its finished, love your colour choice. I have recently purchased on evilbay a 1964 Dodge Custom 880 Convertible that needs a bit of work but I think it's worth it. I plan to contact those two guys in Vic tomorrow as the starter relay just died on me and I can't buy one locally, if you have any dealings with them I would like to know how you went parts service price etc

hi gordon & welcome to the list. i'm in adelaide south australia &
also have a 63' phoenix. the info i have on them is in u.s.a they
were the 440 series not the polara. they are a b body. the body
panels are the same as the polara but different indicators etc. the
indicators we have were an oz thing to pass local laws. in nz they
kept the usa ones [lucky kiwis] they were built in adelaide from
tkd kits [totally knocked down] sourced from canada who supplied
the rhd market. the steering box's are meant to be the same as the
equivalent valiants. the dashs are from the dodge lancer
apparently.but down here theyre the same on the 62 phoenix, both
here & in nz, who imported the 330 series & called it a dart.there
is a 63' guru in adelaide who knows lots about these cars but
unfortunately ive never met him, yet. he has build numbers & lots
of info apparently.what colour is yours? you can post pics on the
62 to 65 website or send us a link to photo bucket. rabbited on a
bit long but any questions dont hesitate to ask, cheers richard [oz]
