hi all
i took a 383 out of my 63 polara 500 h.t. .im going to put a 440 bored .030 over in it with max wedge top end.
i didnt have any valve covers for the max wedge heads,,but as the tape in my head (brain that is)
got to the spot thats not burned out yet from the 70s.i remembered that the heads on the 383 were four bolt and they fit just fine.
so it bought up a this question what heads were on the 383.
the heads are closed chamber and with the 4 bolt valve covers are these heads 413.

the numbers are differnt on both heads
they are
2206324-1
2206324-4
well the last number isnt the same.
something else if someone has a bottom pulley for a 440(for the crank)one grove or 2 would be fine and would want to sell me one.
email me please jcheek@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
thanks jack
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL
IT WILL BE HERE SOON
