Re: Grinched door?

Try to take the door panel inside off, and work the mechanisms by hand. I had a rear door like that on my 64 Belvedere.  It hadn't been opened in 5 or 6 years. I found the bushings on the lock linkage had worn, and had a lot of lost movement. I took good parts from a parts car & fixed it. That was 5 years ago, & still working great!

Subject: Grinched door?

Hi all,

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!

The grinch must have stopped by and messed with the driver's door on a '64 Dodge in storage. I last opened the door around Hurricane Ike: worked fine. I tried to open it today and no go!

The door key makes the door lock latch go up and down, but neither the outside button nor the inside door handle will let me open the door.

Any tips about fixing?

Thanks,
Gary H.
