I may have some,,,,,,will have to make a trip to the attic in the shop,,,,,,,but will not have a chance until after the first of year,,,,,,,,mind is going,,,, can not remember for sure if they were dodge or plymouth that I have, been several years since I was in my 62 parts In a message dated 12/14/2008 3:14:37 P.M. Central Standard Time, wakey@xxxxxxxxxxx writes: Friends, I have scoured the earth for tail lenses for my '62 Dart. As you may know, there are two piece of plastic that make up the lens, I need both the red part (looks like a simple upside-down top hat) and the clear ring with chromed bumps. I've talked with George Laurie, Layson's, Squadra Nuvolari, every NOS supplier I know of, and of course been on evilBay every day for the better part of a year, to no avail. Layson's does offer a listing for the red piece - and I am tempted - but none in stock of course and my experience with Layson's has not been good in the past. Does anyone have or know where I could find some lenses? This is a fully-restored car so NOS or very nice original equipment is needed. I'm grateful for any help or leads. If I can't find some lenses soon I may need to have 10 sets made at Squadra Nuvolari to get a set for myself.
