paint prepping (for max wedge motor)

hi all
what is the best method for painting the motor ,heads ,intake and  all that good stuff.
also what paint is used as well. i got the block back so im ready to put it together.
i had the 440 bored .030 over and im going to put max wedge top end on it..
any  suggestion would help me out.
