Re: buying old tachs and gauges- smart or dumb

Hi Neal,

I have purchased a couple of old mechanical tachs from swap meets and then
sent them out to be recalibrated. I can't recall right now the name of the
company but it is located in Norwalk Conn, they rebuild and restore Jones
mechanicals and the last one they did for me they even supplied a new
Duffy's decal for the face, that has been some years ago though, I talked
with a guy there who told me they own all of the Jones patents etc. I do
have an old Direct Connection electric tach for tach drive distributors with
the sending unit still in the box if you are interested.

P.S. The name of the company might Electronic Indicators in Norwalk, Conn
but I can't be 100 percent sure.
