Neal, the four speed won't care what you use for linkage, the bell housing will, until 65 the fork comes out of the bell housing at an angle, the later ones, 66 & up come out angled down. I assume that 62's used the same set up as 63, 64 & 65 so if you have the pedals your almost there. You can use a later bell housing by relocating the? pivot bracket up, Brewer has a jig for doing that if you don't have the correct bell housing, by the way aftermarket bell housings are all for late models.?
