I broke down way up Maine almost to Canada 3 yrs. ago and found out the hard way. The A block lever is about 3/4" longer (if my crusty brain works). I had to call a few places but found a generic rebuilt one (after trying the wrong one). I pumped some gas through it and had to install it with the lever compressed. Tom I have a friend who told me he found small block fuel pumps with different length's levers in his parts stash. I can't remember if he said the length was so significant to prevent interchange. I'll ask him next time I see him. Gary H. ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
