Re: Fuel pump



Thanks for the replies. I thought about the possibility of the
eccentric but it's possible they were too lazy to change the pump out.
The electric pump was just installed near the carb but should have
been installed close to the tank. They threw on a different carb and
said the original carb wouldn't work because a bad needle and seat. I
bet the problem was the electric pump had too much pressure for the
original carb. I'll change out the mech pump, check the eccentric, and
throw a kit in the original carb. Should be ready to cruise then.
