I also Have a 4 speed. All of this is in a 1964 Dodge Polara 500 convertible. I Replaced the Carter with the Edelbrock last fall and don't even remotely Like the performance compared to the Carter. With the Carter 4 bbl opened Up, the car really jumped. The place that put the carb on is your average Auto repair shop that probably felt that the carb was on and working. No Disrespect to the job they did in any way. I want more performance out of The car and didn't say it in a way that was totally understood. I don't want To race the car, but when I have that urge to spend some of that expensive Gas quickly, I want to fell like I'm spending it fast!! BTW, thanks for all the replies to my question. Stock manifolds too. Ran Like a clock. Sweetest motor I've ever had. Had it in three different cars. ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
